摘要:
The optical entropy concept is applied to the Wigner Distribution Function to locate coherent propagation planes: A relationship between entropy stationarity and the derivative of the Wigner Function with respect to the mean propagation direction is established. Two cases, the Talbot effect and the Gaussian beams, are used as examples to show the validity of the proposal.
