摘要
The cloud phenomenon is a vital service in internet computing. The three service models SaaS, PaaS & IaaS provides all the facilities & functionalities over the internet. Cloud service providers provide services on pay-per-use basis. The main aim of cloud service providers is to use resources efficiently and gain maximum profit using efficient scheduling algorithms which remains an issue in cloud computing. Many task scheduling algorithms are proposed but they are improvement on only one scheduling algorithm. There is no combined study of scheduling types, methods and simulators undertaken which gives unique platform for comparing such types, methods & simulators. This paper focuses on various scheduling types, methods and simulators in cloud computing system. It brings out comparisons for various scheduling methods and cloud simulators using different parameters.
