摘要
In this paper, we propose a bidirectional radio over fiber system based on the improved orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) format and optical heterodyne. With OFDM and coherent receiving technology, the system achieves high bandwidth utility efficiency and excellent transporting property. Using optical heterodyne, the system implements the 60 GHz wireless access without adding radio source. We evaluate the performance of system in terms of bit error rate, coverage area, receiving constellation through Monte-Carlo simulation method and obtain the system as excellent access property.
