Specific surface areas of apatites in whole human mineralized tissues were estimated from (31)p MAS NMR linewidths: 77m(2) g(-1) for enamel and 94 m(2) g(-1) for dentin, dental cementum and cortical bone. (c) 2007 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
