Design of CPW-fed Mini Dual-Frequency Implantable Antenna for Medical Telemetry

摘要
A small and compact CPW-fed dual-frequency implantable antenna with a size of 10mm x 10mm x 1.27mm is designed for medical telemetry. The antenna is used for medical implant communication services (MICS) Frequency band (402 similar to 405MHz) and Wireless Medical Telemetry Service (WMTS) frequency band (1.427 similar to 1.432GHz). The use of a high dielectric constant and a folded meandering monopole structure reduces the size of the antenna. On the premise of meeting the SAR value standard, both the size is reduced, and a high gain is obtained. The gains at the resonant frequencies in the two frequency bands are -31.68dBi and -17.98dBi, respectively, ensuring the performance of the antenna. The research results provide an important reference for the development and application of implantable antennas.
