摘要:
This paper presents a new approach to integrate web services through building agent community in which each agent represents a web service. Its architecture extends the Foundation for Intelligent Physical Agents (FIPA) Agent Management Reference Model with a community facilitator (CF) that manages the community. Its implementation is based on Agent Development Kit (ADK). And, its benefits appears to be: 1) dynamic integration of web services, meaning that agent can join or leave the community at any time; 2) web service capability is enhanced through cooperation within community; and 3) web service security is improved. Examples of Advanced Traveler Information System are given to illustrate feasibility of this approach.
