摘要：

Internal herniation through a defect in the broad ligament is a rare condition. A 42-year-old multiparous woman presented with a long-standing history of right-sided abdominal pain. Laparoscopy revealed herniation of small bowel through a defect in the right broad ligament. The hernia was reduced, and the defect was corrected laparoscopically. The postoperative recovery was uneventful, and the previously persistent abdominal pain has resolved. Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology (2012) 19, 122-124 (C) 2012 AAGL. All rights reserved.
