摘要
A new type of Gd3+ ion conducting solid electrolyte, Gd(1+x)/3Zr2P3-xSixO12 (0.0 <= x <= 0.3), with the NASICON type structure, was developed and their ion conducting properties were investigated. Among the samples prepared, Gd1.1/3Zr2P2.9Si0.1O12 (X = 0.1) possessed the largest crystal lattice size, resulting in showing the highest ion conductivity of 3.41 x 10(-5) S.cm(-1) at 600 degrees C. Predominant conducting species in the Gd1.1/3Zr2P2.9Si0.1O12 solid was successfully demonstrated to be Gd3+ ion by the dc polarization measurement and the dc electrolysis method.
