摘要
Various disturbances occur to note PC in mobile usage. Among these, swing is the most important one because it usually continues as long as second-order period such that the damping effect of HDD's fluid dynamic bearing (FDB) is not enough to prevent the direct metallic contact between the spinning shaft and sleeve which led most failures. This paper presents a contact analysis of 6-DOF rotor-bearing system for HDDs under swing disturbance. The influences of configuration, operational parameters and surface roughness on anti-wear and anti-seizure are discussed.
