An analysis is made to study the heat and mass transfer of an electrically conducting and heat generating/absorbing fluid on a uniformly moving vertical permeable surface in the presence of a magnetic field considering the first-order homogeneous chemical reaction and energy loss due to viscous and Joule heat dissipations considering the medium of the flow as porous. The effects of various flow parameters on velocity, temperature and concentration profiles are shown with the help of graphs and coefficient of skin-friction C-f, Nusselt number Nu and Sherood number Sh are presented with the help of a table.
