摘要
This paper presents a biologically inspired model allowing an image filtering process based on the distribution of photoreceptors across the human retina. Images are re-sampled according to a particular spot of interest. Data are more and more integrated while the distance from the region of interest increases. As well, computation time decreases in an exponential way. But, in order to set up such a process, we have to define a neighbourhood for data integration. Using hexagons enables obtaining a pavement and then, data are used only once.
