摘要
In this contribution, we present a study on alcohol chemical vapour deposition for the synthesis of different carbon nanotube (CNT) types. We show that modifying the carbon source conditions alone can lead to a dramatic alteration in the type of CNTs obtained. The data point to the low-carbon feed rates yielding homogeneous single-walled CNTs (SWCNTs), whilst higher-carbon feed rates yield bulk multi-walled CNTs (MWCNTs) samples. The findings highlight how one can tailor CNT via the carbon feed rate. (C) 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
