The influence of transverse magnetic anisotropy on domain structure and magnetic properties of FeCrCuSiNbB ribbons

摘要
The compositional dependence of the effective anisotropy of creep-induced Cr substitued FeCuNbSiB melt spun samples has been studied. Domain structures and stress-induced anisotropy in soft ferromagnetic materials are reported in this work. Annealing of the amorphous ribbons under mechanical stress induced magnetic anisotropy. The annealing parameters and the chromium content were varied in order to obtain information on the microstructural mechanism responsible for the stress-induced anisotropy. A strong induced transversal anisotropy was observed for the stress annealed alloys with x<3 while stress annealed alloys with x >= 3 yielded longitudinal-induced anisotropy.
