摘要：
Five years ago, having just finished my degree and having been eager to enter the work world, I wrote an article about laboratory efficiency that appeared in the March 2007 issue of LabMedicine. In the past 5 years, I've worked in 3 different hospitals, closed 1 hospital, and served twice as a supervisor. During that time I observed everything I could and tried to retain as much information as possible as I journeyed forward in my career. So much has happened in a short time that I wish to give a summary of my experiences.
