摘要
The paper analyzed the mathematics features and modeling rules of weaving product's structure. The authors used double-mapping technique to turn the NURBS surface into weaving structures, and regulated product model's details such as structure pattern, density or thread thickness according to user input parameters. The paper practiced the techniques in rattan chair product design, and made some basic research on pattern design of weaving structure. The results achieved in this paper simplified designer's work in conceptual design, which mainly handles general curved surface shape and can be done on most platforms, and the complicated structures are generated with the help of specially programmed tools. This method shortens weaving product design cycles and will have considerable effects on the prosperity of weaving products.
