Utilizing principal component and logistic regression model to analyze the factors affecting children's obesity

As our living standard rises, simple obesity caused by over-nutrition of children has increased year on year. Obesity of children has drawn broad social attention. This paper adopts the detection results for the children ranging from 3 years old to 6 years old of Tianjin pubic physical monitoring in 2005, combining with the contents of surveys, and chooses the major factors affecting children's obesity through analyzing principal constituent and logistic regression. The major factors are parent' obesity, parents' education level and the birth weight of the children in turn.
