摘要
Modern sensors require an increasingly small package which presents unique design challenges for antennas and arrays. One option is to install apertures conformally. This, however, limits aperture performance, especially for forward looking antennas with horizontal polarization. An ultra-wideband antenna is proposed for embedded installations, permitting a polarization and frequency independent forward field of regard. A scaled version of the design is designed, fabricated, and measured.
