Pituitary gland macroadenoma complicating cardiac surgery is an uncommon condition of spectacular clinical presentation that is generally treated by surgery. We report here on an unusual presentation of this condition that was successfully managed by medical treatment. (C) 2001 by The Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
