摘要
This paper presents a new method to measure the ice thickness of the transmission line, which is based on the binocular visible light camera mounted on the UAV acquisiting the transmission line icing image, combined the infrared camera and word line laser. The relationship between the image coordinates and the world coordinates is determiny camera calibration. The situation of conductor icing is detected by infrared image. And the corresponding binocular vision images are retrieved. Then calibrate the binocular stereo image. According to the laser source of the word line laser, the ice thickness is measured by two characteristic points stand for the icing width. The method of measuring the ice cover thickness by using the UAV mounted the binocular stereo vision system is highly flexible, highly commandable. The experimental results show that the algorithm has less error and is suitable for the emergency monitoring of transmission line icing.
