摘要：
The research-based paper aims to examine the process of modifying everyday artifacts such as Barbie dolls and its implications for Postphenomenology. This qualitative ethnographic study uses participant observations to analyze the process of Iranian immigrant girls in Australia interacting or playing with Barbie dolls. This analysis has led to development of new concepts such as re-scripting and mediation of interaction which, the paper suggests, contribute to an expansion of the field of Postphenemenology.
