摘要
In this study we combine three intervention components (teaching method, learning activity and learning technology) with the three categories of the Community of Inquiry (CoI) framework (teaching presence, social presence and cognitive presence) in order to determine what we know and need to know of comparable blended learning studies. As a result, we offer a both a qualitative and quantitative (empirical findings) overview that contributes substantially to the understanding of the complex and dynamic phenomenon blended learning, beside we suggest recommendations and guidelines for systematic blended learning research. Beyond its scientific contribution, this review is informative for educational technologists, teachers, policy makers, and directors of education.
