摘要
In this paper, new type of calcium aluminate cements containing magnesium aluminate spinel were prepared using mixtures of dolomite and alumina by a reaction-sintering process. The phase constituent of the synthesized product was inspected by X-ray diffraction(XRD), the microstructure and phase distribution were observed using a scanning electron microscope(SEM)with energy dispersive X-ray(EDS)spectrometry. The setting time, refractoriness and bonding strength of new type of calcium aluminate cements were measured by means of standard method, corrosion-resistance test of new type of calcium aluminate cements were also investigated by static crucible method, the corrosion-resistance difference were studied between new type of calcium aluminate cements and Lafarge calcium aluminate bonded corundum castables. The experimental results show that: the new type of calcium aluminate cements consists of MA, CA and CA(2) phases, and phases distribute uniformly, bonding strength and setting time are normal. The corrosion-resistance and refractoriness was improved due to the introduction of MA spinel, which has high melting point and prevent the slag from penetrating.
