Trust is not more estimation of the other person but a personal relationship entered into with him. Trust is a hazardous business but entering into it can strengthen in the other person the will to justify the trust placed in him. Without trust here can be no harmony, particularly in communities sharing work. In Germany, as far as the material quality of meat products is concerned, the consumers of these products and those involved in their distribution still form a community based on trust in spite of some disruptions to the peace and in spite of often frivolous advertising. To ensure and promote this trust special minima are described in the Guiding Principles for Meat and Meat Products both in generalt terms and for products with traditional trade descriptions. In Germany there is a functioning food inspection organization which - although at time after some delay - catches those who do not observe the provisions or guiding principles.
