摘要
In this context, the present work was dedicated to the tailored synthesis of TiO2 nanoparticulate films doped with potassium for the hydrophilicity and photocatalytic activity. In particular, the systems were synthesized by a sol-gel route and thoroughly characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), UV-Vis reflectance spectroscopy and contact angle meter. Finally, the photocatalytic performances in the decomposition of the azo-dye methyl blue (MB) were investigated. The results showed that 3K/TiO2 films had super-hydrophilicity and photocatalysis under fluorescence light irradiation. Moreover, 3K/TiO, films were proven to have excellent photocatalysis and hydrophilicity in visible region simultaneously, which made the application of 3K/TiO2 film as self-cleaning and anti-fogging material practical under everyday condition.
