Design of remote data acquisition and transmission embed system using GSM module

摘要
In cellular phone systems, the GSM engine is designed to provide radio connection for voice and data transmission. Short Message Service (SMS) is a text information exchange application between two GSM terminals through Service Center A embed computer application system can deal with the transmitted and received data by SMS with minimum effort. This paper presents a design of embed system for remote data acquisition and transmission using the micro-controller C8051F020 and GSM module TC35. The hardware interface is described. The method using SMS function provided by GSM network is discussed. The embed software design method using standard GSM AT commands is also given, and the focus is on the decoding of the short messages in Protocol Data Unit (PDU) format.
