摘要
A compact printed twelve-port MIMO antenna system for future multi-mode 5G/4G smartphone applications is presented. The proposed MIMO antenna system consists of 4G antenna module and 5G antenna module. The 4G antenna module is a 2x2 MIMO antenna array capable of covering the bands of 691-970, 1430-2740, and 3360-3960MHz. The operating bands of the 5G antenna module with S11 lower than -6dB ranges over 3.31 similar to 3.70GHz and 4.46 similar to 5.40GHz, covering the 3.5-GHz band (3.4 similar to 3.6GHz) and 4.9-GHz band (4.8 similar to 5.0GHz) for future 5G applications.
