摘要
Two series of novel urea and thiourea-based quinazoline derivatives (7a-g/8a-g) have been synthesized by Suzuki C-C coupling between the C-2 position of quinazoline and a phenyl ring then condensation with N-phenyl isocyanates/isothiocyanates with good overall yields in a short reaction time. All the synthesized compounds were well characterized by IR, NMR, and elemental analysis. Synthesis of these 1-phenyl-3-(4-(4-(m-tolyloxy)quinazolin-2-yl)phenyl)urea/thiourea derivatives was conveniently achieved in only three steps, starting from 2,4-dichloroquinazoline.
