摘要
A review of current published curriculum guidelines regarding resident training in critical care medicine is presented including suggested methods to teach this curriculum. Perspectives regarding challenges to graduate medical education in critical care medicine such as reimbursement for teaching; the cost of teaching residents in the ICU; and the quality of care provided in ICUs that teach general residents are also discussed.
