The abrasion resistance of a superhydrophobic surface comprised of polyurethane elastomer

摘要
An elastic superhydrophobic surface has been fabricated via polymer replication. The surface shows superhydrophobic performance and durability against abrasion: the contact angle is high as 165.1 degrees after being loaded with 2945.7 Pa and being rubbed at 18 cm s(-1) 10 000 times, the contact angle still keeps more than 150 degrees, which demonstrates the elastic materials' advantage of improving the abrasion resistance of superhydrophobic surfaces.
