Microstructure - Based modeling of anisotropic superplastic deformation

摘要
The superplastic deformation is modeled within the continuum theory of viscoplasticity with an anisotropic yield function and a microstructure-based overstress function. Grain growth evolution is incorporated in the model and its effect on the superplastic flow stress is investigated. It is shown that the model is capable of describing the actual behavior of superplastic deformation at various strain rates.
