摘要
The CRISPR-Cas toolbox is ex-panding swiftly. Every discovery of a novel and unique variant opens new frontiers in the field of synthetic and applied biology. Recently, Huang et al. revealed the CRISPR-Cas12c system that requires a single-nucleotide protospacer ad-jacent motif (PAM) to perform RNA-guided DNA targeting with-out DNA cleavage.
