摘要
Organizations are continuously looking to improve the likelihood of their projects' success. One of their employed methods involves designing and improving organizational culture. However, with the increased adoption of virtual working environments, it is unknown whether the organizational culture will impact the success of software projects or not. This research investigates the relation between organizational culture and software projects success in Saudi organizations working virtually. It aims to identity the organizational culture factors that have the highest correlation with software projects' success. To do this, four groups - small teams, medium/large teams, private and semi-governmental organizations, and governmental organizations - were studied. Also, 71 respondents participated in the study. This study has shown that multiple organizational culture factors are related to the success of software projects. The highest correlated factor to projects' success is impulsiveness, which describes acting based on impulses and without self-control. This result helps organizations to adopt the most suitable organizational culture.
