Chitin-based composite materials for sorption of metal ions from aqueous solutions

摘要
Methods are developed for, production of highly efficient and selective sorbents based on the chitin-containing material Chizit-03 and polymeric binders (polyvinyl butyrate, perchlorovinyl, and colloxylin) in shapes convenient for industrial application. We studied the effect of different binders and their content and production techniques on the efficiency of sorption of transition metal (copper) and transuranium element (TUE, plutonium and americium) ions from aqueous solutions.
