摘要
The authors report novel power splitters using angled multimode interference couplers, that allow free selection of the power splitting ratios. Realised in silica on silicon throughout the 1.55 mu m wavelength range, the splitters permit polarisation independent control of the power splitting ratios to within +/-2%.
