摘要：
The validity is the most important quality of a rating scale, but unfortunately it is very badly evaluated in practice. The different facets of the concept : content, criterion, construct, face validity are thoroughly studied. Each facet is accurately defined and the experimental and statistical methods used are explained in detail Finally practical recommandations are given.
