Evaluating strategy opportunities using DS/AHP

When the current analytic techniques of strategy opportunities are applied, a few problems often appear because of the current techniques as not being aware of opportunities' availability and not considering experts' inaccurate judgments' influences on conclusions. To provide a more reasonable approach, the thought of analyzing strategy opportunities on the basis of significance and availability is developed, and then the approach for evaluating strategy opportunities using DS/AHP is presented by introducing the DS/AHP method. Expressions of conclusions, gained by the approach, are accordant with intuitions of human, and conclusions are available, reasonable and reliable. By an application example, the approach proves to be a practical and operable tool for efficiently evaluating strategy opportunities.
