摘要
Nowadays, the number of simultaneously active devices in urban environment is rapidly increasing and ever more in need of new services. In this context, service providers aim to optimize the use of resources in order to guarantee adequate quality of service to as many users as possible. The fifth generation (5G) wireless technology, thanks to its technical characteristics and promising potential, is pushing the research community to propose new solutions and to diversify services to take full advantage of the network. This paper presents a new method for massive concurrent uplink of video content in a restrained area. Next generation NodeB (gNB)'s ability to handle uplink requests from a large number of users in terms of minimum video quality versus number of users has been investigated. In the proposed scenario, user's live videos from various point of views at a sport event is actively used by the provider/broadcaster to offer new emerging services.
