摘要
Naturally occurring regulatory T cells and different subsets of induced suppressor T cells are key players of the immune tolerance network which avoid the induction of nonessential and selfdestructive immune responses. This review aims to highlight recent progress in regulatory T cell research and discusses the potential employment of regulatory T cells as therapeutic means to regain peripheral tolerance to allergens.
