CGS: cobalt and zinc gallophosphates with a new open-framework topology

摘要
Two novel metal-substituted gallium phosphates, (C7NH14)[MeGa3P4O12] (Me=Co, Zn) have been synthesised under solvothermal conditions using quinuclidine as template and their structures determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction at 150 K. The materials are isostructural (monoclinic symmetry, space group P2(1)/c, unit-cell dimensions ca. 14x16x9 Angstrom and beta ca. 90.2 degrees) with a previously-unreported framework topology (IZA structure type code CGS) constructed from alternating MO4 (M = Me and Ga) and PO4 tetrahedra. The frameworks enclose channels surrounded by 10- and 8-membered rings of tetrahedra, which intersect to form a 3-dimensional pore network in which disordered quinuclidinium cations reside.
