SOUTH MORAVIAN AND MORAVIAN-SILESIAN REGION IN NATIONAL TV REPORTING: SELECTED ASPECTS

Albeit TV reporting constitutes enormously important category, its spatial implications are often neglected. In this article we will attempt to examine selected aspects of TV portrayals of South Moravian and Moravian-Silesian regions. The objective of this article is to analyse and compare the thematic contributions of national TV reporting related to South Moravian and Moravian-Silesian regions. These regions can be characterised by different qualities, which finds its projection also in TV reporting. While the topics related to Moravian-Silesian region proved to be mainly of economic and environmental character, in case of South Moravia the researched themes were much more motley. To express differences in TV reporting related to both examined regions, correspondence analysis turned out useful.
