摘要
In this paper an efficacious design of a multi-level inverter which boosts up the output voltage levels with the components reduction is proposed. The multi-level inverter put forth produces nine levels in the waveform of the output voltage. The inverter proposed comprises of a dc voltage source, an h-bridge cell, switches, diodes and series connected capacitors. This increase in the levels helps to reduce the harmonic distortion present totally in voltage output. The performance of this circuit configuration is verified using computer aided simulations.
