摘要
In this article, we present a novel two-section transmission line (TSTL) based dual band harmonic control (HC) technique applied to the design of high efficiency power amplifier (PA).The dual band TSTL design criterion is investigated for three particular cases and a class-F HC network adopting all the three kinds of TSTLs is designed. For further demonstration, we realized and fabricated a harmonic tuned PA operating concurrently at 0.8 and 1.9 GHz. Experimental results have shown 75% and 72% PAE at 40.1 and 43.3 dBm output power in the two targeted bands. (C) 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
