摘要
A very high-gain and very low-profile terahertz corrugated antenna consisting of a central coupling concave connected with a subwavelength feeding slot surrounded by surface grooves on a conducting plate is presented. Compared with the traditional corrugated plate antenna, introduction of the novel coupling concave can improve the radiation intensity by 5.5 dB and significantly reduce the half-power beamwidth (HPBW). In addition, adding the matching dimple in between the feeding slot and coupling concave can effectively adjust the antenna impedance matching and increase the radiation efficiency.
