摘要
Superelastic Nickel-Titanium alloys subjected to cyclic loads exhibit two particular phenomena: a decrease of the transformation stresses and an increase of the residual deformation in the load free state. Both processes are partly reversible by heat. The present work is focused on the experimental investigation of the effect of various heat treatments on the transformation stresses of Nitinol (NiTi). Furthermore, possible micromechanical causes for the recovery behavior of the material are investigated.
