An investigation was made of the electrophysical characteristics of chains of high-temperature superconducting Josephson junctions on a bicrystal substrate. Their interaction with millimeter radiation was also studied. It was shown that these chains can be used to detect millimeter and submillimeter radiation. (C) 1998 American Institute of Physics.
