摘要
The dependence on data in decision-making is a rising trend clearly shown by the enormous investments directed towards data-based decision-making. With the emergence of big data, the dependence on data for decision-making to enhance organisational performance is becoming a challenge. With the advancement of big data, business managers as the organisation's key decision-makers face the task of enhancing data-based decision-making. This study uses a Systematic Literature Review process to assess the skills required by business managers to facilitate and promote data-based decision-making initiatives. The study uses the Skills Framework for the Information Age to determine the skills framework to be used in data-based decision-making initiatives. The study concludes by proposing a skills framework for data-based decision-making to help business managers recognise the skills needed to facilitate and support data-based decision-making initiatives.
