摘要：
A green chemistry approach to the N-alkylation of phenothiazine is described. The chemical process was improved by applying the microwave assisted heating technique in closed vessel and by using safer solvents such as alcohol or PEG. Reaction conditions were optimized to give good yields in short reaction times.
