摘要
This paper proposes an improved rotor position estimation method in permanent-magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) with low-resolution hall-effect sensors. This method promise to decrease the estimated position errors, which are caused by the hall position offset. A linear interpolation based on least squares method is used to estimate the rotor position. The compensation algorithm at the hall pulse time is also used to avoid the angle transient which could cause the torque ripple. The space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) strategy based on the estimated rotor position is used to control the PMSM. The simulation based on MATLAB/Simulink is built to validate the availability of the proposed method. Comparisons with some other position estimation algorithms also have been done to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy. Finally, experimental results are provided to verify the proposed method.
