摘要
The effect of alcohols with different chain lengths and sodium chloride on the solubilization of water of the dodecylammonium propionate (DAP) reverse micelles in carbon tetrachloride has been investigated. At fixed DAP concentration, the water solubilization vs, ROH concentration curves pass through a maximum value. For the alcohols studied in this work, the longer the hydrocarbon chain of an alcohol, the larger the water solubilisation. Moreover, at fixed DAP concentration and ROH concentration(at which the water solubilization curve shows maximum) the addition of sodium chloride will decrease the solubilization of aqueous solution, According to the consideration of the polarity of the organic phases, the distribution of the surfactant between the organic phase and interfacial region and the salting effect, the results have been explained reasonably.
