From the somatic of the body to the schooled body: for a revisited dialogue between diversity and sexuality

In this article, we seek to reflect on discourse, school and diversity, observing how sexuality is understood from the analysis of a cover of the magazine Nova Escola, published in February 2015, with the question: Shall we talk about it? The statement, illustrated by the image of a boy dressed as a princess, broke another silence and called on the school sphere to discuss the identities that pass through it. Thus, it is a reflection in the light of the French Discourse Analysis and of the concepts located in its interdisciplinary scope, referring to the meanings that define sexuality and gender identities. With a qualitative approach to documentary analysis, this study aims to understand how the differences that defined the sexed body resignify and challenge a pedagogy of sexuality historically imposed on the subjects.
